Tatiana Efrussi is an artist and researcher who works with historical and ideological narratives, creating versions of the past or future, that critically change our perception of the present. In 2014 she developed an idea of a movement called ‘art survivalists’. This was an ironic gesture to the absence of any reaction from the Russian society to Crimea annexation and conservative turn in Russia. Similar to the subculture of survivalists who are training to survive during Apocalypses but not taking any active steps to prevent the catastrophe, she invited artists to train their skills to exhibit in the future absence of any exhibitionary complex. In the framework of this project she organized an international exhibition in the closet in the country house outside of Moscow which united 18 artists.

During Escapism. Training Program the artist will present the catalogue of that show.
